I would like to dispel a few myths about Jack Russells. They are not yapping ankle snappers, any dog that does that has been badly trained and it is not the dogs fault. There is an old adage; there is no such thing as a badly behaved dog, only badly behaved owners. They are in fact incredibly loyal and affectionate and make beautiful pets. The Kennel Club does not recognise the Jack Russell as a breed, they only recognise the Parsons Jack Russell.
